Where (and how) we choose to live is incredibly important to us. We spend around 90% of our daily lives indoors, with the vast majority of that spent in our homes.
Choosing our home is therefore a decision of major significance to our overall quality of life, and this is equally true of green homes. Research suggests that green homes keep you healthier, require less in the way of maintenance and – at least in the long run – are cheaper. But opting for a green home comes with many considerations – should you choose a city or country home? Should you refurbish a house or build from scratch? What are the end results of these decisions?
