Australia Bushfires Cover Sydney in Smoke [in Pictures]

Major bushfires across the state of New South Wales in Australia have covered the city of Sydney in thick plumes of smoke and ash. 

The bushfires, fanned by high, erratic winds and unseasonably warm weather have blanketed the city of Sydney in smoke and ash, dramatically altering Australia’s most famous skyline. The following pictures beautifully demonstrate just how severely the smoke cloud has affected the city:
