Search Engine Optimisation Explained [Video]

By -

Anyone who’s delved into the world of online marketing will be familiar with search engine optimisation (a discipline often referred to as SEO), but for most of us the practice appears almost mystical; bringing about images of tech wizards writing lines of incomprehensible code and using secret techniques to get sites to the top of Google.

However, SEO isn’t as complicated or as secretive as many of us might think, and to explain how search engine optimisation works, internet marketing agency Climbing Trees have produced this beautifully put together video:

Not only does the video go a long way to explaining what SEO is and how it works, but it’s a great example of what the video advocates – making good stuff. I love the hand drawn animation and the quaint but effective use of paper cutouts and illustrative characterisation.

Thanks to Alex at Climbing Trees for sharing the video.
