The summer transfer period is well underway, with over £200 million being spent already – and a lot more expected before the end of the window. Purchased by the former Premier League champions for a reported £49 million from rivals Liverpool, Sterling is one of England’s most exciting young prospects and a talented (if expensive) acquisition for City.
