The Evolution of Football Kits at the European Championships

The 2016 European Championships have officially kicked off, with host nation France needing a last minute screamer from Payet to defeat underdogs Romania. With the start of the tournament comes renewed interest in football from all over Europe and internationally, and – as you might expect – a whole host of football-related content.

The latest piece to have caught our attention is the beautifully crafted 20 Years of Euro Kit Evolution, which features some superb vector illustrations of two decades of the Euro kits of England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. The illustrations are not only lovingly recreated with an astonishing level of detail, but the infographic also includes useful information on the team’s performance at each of the European Championships from the last 20 years:
