Every major brand uses social media in one form or another. Whether it’s to provide customer service, improve brand awareness of for direct marketing, modern social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram offer brands unparalleled access to (and levels of engagement with) consumers.
Some brands however are much better at it than others (Oreo immediately spring to mind), and in some cases, brands use of social media has gotten them into trouble online.
