Premier League Signing Series: Bastian Schweinsteiger

Last week we featured the first of our Premier League Signing Series, with an infographic look at Raheem Sterling. Today we’ve got the second in that series, this time looking at Manchester United’s Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Signed from Bayern Munich, where he’s spent his entire career up to this point, the German captain was signed for an undisclosed fee, estimated to be between £10.6 million and £14.4 million. Although the midfielder is approaching the end of his career, he’s seen as a superb signing for the former English champions, with his wealth of experience and winning mentality adding much needed depth to the Manchester United midfield.
