Australian photographer Peter Stewart has captured the alienating grandeur of Hong Kong in a series of photos that nods toward the work of Andreas Gursky.
He makes good use of perspective, gazing up endless edifices and down deep stairwells. High rise buildings converge into a distant point and floor after floor of apartments sit atop each other. The series is titled ‘Stacked – Urban Architecture of Hong Kong‘ and shows the sheer scale and magnitude of buildings in the metropolis.
