A recently published interactive visualisation has taken a unique approach to telling the story of Commonwealth deaths during the first world war.
It’s been 95 years since the end of World War One; a conflict that claimed the lives of almost one million citizens of Commonwealth countries. This visualisation by James Offer shows how these deaths occurred over time, the age of the dead, where they were buried and their nationality:
