Ukrainian riot police have clashed with pro-EU demonstrators in Kiev, causing numerous injuries to protesters.
Special force units used teargas and batons against a small group of protesters, away from the main rally. The demonstrators want the Ukranian government to resume negotiations regarding a move towards a trade pact with the European Union, which had been suspended after continued pressure from Russia.
